CM Nayab Singh Saini on Monday inaugurated and laid foundation stones of four development projects worth approximately Rs.11.33 crore in the Indri Assembly constituency. These projects include the inauguration of a 33 KV sub-station in Mughal Majra village and a swimming pool in Matak Majri village, costing Rs. 9.41 crore. Besides this, he also laid the foundation stones for the construction of sub-health centers in Bibipur Jattan and Danialpur villages, at a cost of Rs. 1.28 crore.
While addressing the gathering at the Dhanyawad Programme, the Chief Minister made a series of announcements. He announced that under the Mahagram Yojana, work for water supply, sewage treatment plants, and laying sewage lines will be carried out at a fast pace in the villages of Sangoha and Sangohi, with an estimated cost of Rs. 24 crore.
The Chief Minister also announced an allocation of Rs.10 crore for constructing a Chhath Puja Ghat and renovating PWD roads, and Rs. 5 crore for the renovation of marketing board roads. Besides this, he announced that Rs.5 crore has been earmarked for the renovation and maintenance of schools in Indri.
